Process
Dye Sublimation allows for all-over-printing on pre-sewn, polyester garments. The artwork is first printed on large sheets of paper, which are then transferred to the garments using heat and pressure. The heat converts the solid dye to gas (sublimation) and the pressure bonds the dye to the polyester fibers. This process is different from silkscreening or iron-on transfer, where the ink sits on top of the garment. So artwork on a dye-sublimated shirt wont ever chip off or fade.
Results
Some small areas of creasing occur under the arm (see above) during printing. I fill in those blank areas with fabric markers. So don't even worry about it.
